Public Map

The public map is used in various instances, like when maps are displayed in the inbox or when search results are displayed on a map. Public maps can have multiple layers if more than one layer is set as Public in Designer under GIS > Services. See Add Services to a Service Definition in the Designer for 15.8 Guide for more information.
