Description: Non-CoTSource: Data Owner: Projection: NAD_1983_StatePlane_Ohio_North_FIPS_3401_FeetDate Received: Description: Maintenance Cycle: Original Description: The map layer is based on the "Moseley Boundary" of the Oak Openings Region (Edwin L. Moseley, Flora of the Oak Openings Region, published 1928, Proceedings of the Ohio Academy of Science, Vol. VIII, Part 3, Special Paper, No. 20). This is the most widely used map of the Oak Openings Region and is a conservative estimate of the historic extent of the region based on field surveys by the author.
